Merry Christmas!

What a beautiful day! The morning began with the glimpse of an amazing, but quickly fading, sunrise. We opened our gifts and prepared for church. We were reminded that Christ's kingdom is now. He is reigning at the right hand of God NOW, and we have work to do as His subjects. Communion was full of meaning. We sang "Joy to the World," and for the world it is joyous. I do wonder though, how He felt that day. Fully God becoming fully man as well. To experience the pain and trials, ultimately to die. So while there is much joy, it is with humility that it is expressed. Today we did celebrate the one born to die on our behalf. A helpless babe who now reigns as king! May we serve him faithfully each day.
